Quadrupling adult vaccinations in 30 days through AI-powered outreach in La Rioja

Summary

Until 2024, La Rioja invited citizens to Herpes Zoster and Pneumococcal vaccination by postal letter during their birthday month. Each cohort took up to 13 months to complete, and the Health Department had no visibility on whether letters were received, read or acted on. In August 2025, the Health Department, in collaboration with GSK, started the collaboration with Tucuvi and implemented Tucuvi Health Manager to transform the management of both campaigns. LOLA holds natural conversations with citizens, records their vaccination intention, answers frequently asked questions about both vaccines in real time and feeds a structured, real-time management dashboard.
