Valencia, 22 de junio de 2023 - The Aspid Awards have recognized the originality and great acceptance among patients of LOLA, the virtual medical assistant implemented in Ribera Salud, as well as the creativity of the cardiovascular disease prevention campaign, "Ritmos de Vida" (Rhythms of Life), with respective gold and silver awards. These awards, leaders in the healthcare sector with 27 years of experience, reward the creativity of both healthcare products and services, as well as the communication that companies make about them.

LOLA, the virtual medical assistant developed by Tucuvi, is a voice and artificial intelligence technology that already enables remote follow-up and control of thousands of patients with various respiratory-related conditions such as COPD, as well as palliative, oncological, and non-oncological patients, in several hospitals of the group. LOLA is a platform capable of making multiple calls in a short interval of time without the patient needing advanced technology beyond a phone. This virtual medical assistant collects and processes all the information provided by the patient, asking the appropriate questions. In case of patient's vital signs decompensation or any sign indicating a deterioration in their health status, When necessary, LOLA sends an alert to the healthcare professionals to get in touch with their patients.

The Aspid Awards ceremony took place last Tuesday afternoon at the World Trade Center in Barcelona, and the awards were collected by Ribera's Digital Transformation Officer, Tania Menéndez, and the group's Brand Manager, Mónica Jaén, along with doctors Maikel Ayo, Hospital Medical Services Lead of Ribera Salud, Guillermo Losa, head of the Hospital at Home unit at the Vinalopó University Hospital, and Mireia Martínez, Project Manager at Tucuvi.
